Hope for August

I have hope for August. I have hope from the Lord for all that is to come and gratitude for all that has been. The last several months have been a whirlwind. Our house has gone through a complete renovation while we’ve still lived there with three kids and a cat. Ten months later and the end is in sight. Praise the Lord! 🙌🏻 

School starts for our oldest next week (first grade!) and we just can’t wait to get back into our normal routine. This summer has flown by but it has definitely been one for the memory books. It has tested our resilience and proven our adaptability. We have grown stronger as a family and learned to rely on others. 

I am grateful to be going into the fall months with joy and peace only the Lord can give. He has seen us through this renovation process and we will continue to trust Him for a lifetime. 

Friends, if your summer has been as wild as mine, I pray you have hope for August too. I pray Romans 15:13 over you today.
